Our family has loved wood as a material for generations. The grandfather, father and brother of company founder Johann were closely connected to wood as sawmill owners and timber merchants. Johann literally grew up with this passion – and in 1984, he finally founded his own company: OBERLECHNER HOLZ.
With hard work, dedication and a keen sense of the market, the company quickly established itself as a reliable partner to the construction industry. In the years that followed, not only did the customer base grow, but so did the product range: the product portfolio was consistently expanded and specialised, and the high quality standard was sustainably underlined by the receipt of essential certifications.
The second generation of the company is now building on this solid foundation. Alexander and Lukas, two minds full of ideas, energy and drive, are bringing a breath of fresh air and new impetus. Processes have been optimised, the product range expanded and new opportunities successfully exploited. In this way, we combine our experience with the innovative power of tomorrow – and deliver solution-oriented, high-quality products that our customers can rely on.
